Fábio D. Rocha (Blueshift Asset Management, EUA) will give the a colloquium titled “How to Invest like physicist: the quantitative approach to finance”, on April 3rd, at 4 p.m. This colloquium is part of a set of colloquia organised by the Department of Physics (DF) at Técnico.
Short Bio.
In his previous life, Fábio Rocha was a physicist, having studied at Universidade do Porto and done his PhD at Princeton University. In 2010, he switched to finance, initially as a high-frequency trader at Tradeworx and more recently developing quantitative investment strategies at Blueshift AM. In the summer of 2018, he moved to Lisbon to open the first international office for Blueshift.
