Professor Jorge Vieira (GoLP- Group for Lasers and Plasmas, IPFN – IST) will give a DF-IST colloquium on 9th October 2019, at 4 p.m., titled “Plasma based accelerators and light sources: from compact to topological”.
The DF-IST colloquia are organised according to the following 4 topics:
1• The end of Nature,
2• Trends and frontiers in Physics,
3• Physics at the core of Technology,
4• Paths and ways for a graduate in Physics.
Venue: Amphitheatre PA2, floor -1, Mathematics building.
Professors Teresa Peña (CFTP), Amaro Rica da Silva (CENTRA) and Pedro Assis (LIP) will organise the DF-IST colloquia 2019/2020.
