The Solemn Ceremony of the 112th anniversary of Instituto Superior Técnico will take place on 23rd May 2023, at 10.30 a.m., in the Great Hall at Alameda campus. The Outstanding Teaching Awards ceremony will take place in the afternoon, in the Congress Centre, at Alameda campus.

10.40 a.m. – Outstanding Teaching Diplomas Ceremony (the diplomas will be delivered to the representatives of each Department)
11.00 a.m. – Speech by the Outstanding Teaching Award winners, proposed by the Pedagogical Council
11.10 a.m. – Ceremony to honour Técnico employees (faculty, researchers and administrative staff) for 25 years of service and retirees
11.20 a.m. – Speech by a non-teaching staff member, Dr Júlia Oliveira, Coordinator of the Post-Graduation Area
11.30 a.m. – Award Ceremony to IST Distinguished Professor
11.40 a.m. – Speech by His Excellency the Rector of Universidade de Lisboa, Professor Luis Ferreira
11.50 a.m. – Speech by Secretary of State for Higher Education, Professor Pedro Nuno Teixeira
12 p.m. – Speech by Minister of Economy and Maritime Affairs, Professor António Costa Silva - 12.30 p.m. – Técnico 112th Birthday cake, Main Building atrium
