«SEntInnov, the student club of the Master’s Programme in Engineering and Management of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, is launching a new project: the “Entrepreneur’s Kit.” This initiative aims to foster students’ interest in the world of innovation and entrepreneurship by providing a practical and multidisciplinary perspective that complements their technical education.
The event will consist of three activities designed to help participants understand the challenges and opportunities of entrepreneurship:
StartHer: Women Who Inspire – 6 March
The first event will be a roundtable discussion dedicated to the role of women in entrepreneurship, celebrating International Women’s Day. The session will feature professors and startup founders who will share their experiences, challenges, and achievements in the world of innovation.
Startup Journey: From Idea to Business (date to be announced)
In the second activity, a workshop will guide participants through the essential steps to turn an innovative idea into a successful startup. Topics will include strategies for developing a sustainable business model, basic legal aspects, and methods for attracting customers and investment.
InnovaTour: Visit to a Startup Incubator (date to be announced)
Finally, students will have the opportunity to visit a startup incubator in Lisbon. This immersive experience will provide firsthand exposure to the entrepreneurial ecosystem, facilitating direct contact with entrepreneurs and investors.
To complement the event, a practical guide will be developed, offering essential information on startup creation and management. Created in collaboration with industry experts, this manual will cover everything from idea validation techniques to bureaucratic and legal matters, ensuring a solid foundation for aspiring entrepreneurs.
The Entrepreneur’s Kit is more than just a series of events—it’s a unique opportunity for Técnico students to gain practical skills, expand their network, and build the confidence to turn innovative ideas into successful businesses.»
