Jornal Económico, in partnership with Novo Banco and with the support of Instituto Superior Técnico, will organise the third edition of Zona de Impacto Global, this time dedicated to innovation and transition in the Portuguese industry.

Following the success of previous editions — with themes such as ‘Thinking ESG’ and ‘The elixir of youth: how companies can leverage experience’ — Zona de Impacto Global is back to explore how innovation and technology are transforming the industrial sector.

The event will bring together business leaders, experts and academics to discuss challenges and opportunities, including process digitalisation, sustainability and the integration of new technologies, and will be attended by Luís Ribeiro, Ricardo Diz, Agostinho Carvalho, Luís Mira Amaral and Pedro Amaral, Vice-President of Técnico for Corporate Interface, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, who will give a presentation titled ‘Making it Happen: The Bridge between Academia and the Economy — Curricula, Funding, Collaboration’.

The aim is to understand how companies can adapt to market changes and ensure competitiveness in a rapidly evolving sector.
