«The FAQtos Award, coordinated by Prof. Luís M. Correia and developed at INOV – INESC Inovação/Instituto Superior Técnico, aims to publicly provide relevant information on electromagnetic radiation in mobile communications, particularly concepts related to electromagnetic waves, exposure limits, bibliography, and relevant references, among other topics.
The FAQtos Contest is a national competition aimed at secondary school students. 36 projects were submitted this year.
The final ceremony of the 2025 edition of the FAQtos Award, under the theme “Explore the Radio Frequencies,” will take place on Saturday, 5 July 2025, at 2 p.m., in Técnico Congress Centre (Alameda campus – Civil Engineering Building).
The final jury, composed of representatives from the FAQtos team, the education and business sectors, and official entities, will select the top three projects/teams from among the 10 finalists.
The competition also rewards the teachers who supervised the winning projects, as well as their respective schools.»
