«The FAQtos Award is a national competition coordinated by Professor Luís M. Correia and developed at INOV – INESC/ Instituto Superior Técnico. It is aimed at secondary school students (aged 14–21) and promotes the dissemination of information on electromagnetic radiation in mobile communications. The 2026 edition, under the theme “Radiofrequencies in Action”, received 56 applications from students across the country.
The Final Ceremony of the FAQtos Award 2026 will take place on 11 July 2026 (Saturday), at 2 p.m., at the Técnico Congress Centre (Civil Engineering Building).
The Final Jury, composed of representatives from the FAQtos team, the education sector, companies, and official entities, will select the top three winners from among the 10 Finalist Projects/Teams.
This competition also rewards the teachers supervising the winning projects and their respective schools.»

1st Prize – €2,000
2nd Prize – €1,500
3rd Prize – €1,000
