The exhibition will be open to the public at the Museu de Civil, from 14th February to 11st March this year, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., monday to friday.

“Finding the Lost Monastery of Madre de Deus” is an exhibition that gathers the results of MIEH-HBIM, a curricular unit of the 5th year of the Integrated Master in Architecture (IST), which focuses on the hypotheses and the processes of digital reconstitution of the foundational nucleus of the Monastery of Madre de Deus, Lisboa.

The course, titled HBIM (Historic Building Information Modelling) – in Portuguese, MIEH (Modelação de Informação de Edifícios Históricos) – is a project-based course which introduces students to HBIM as a tool for heritage documentation and historic research. Superseding the scope of common Historic Building Information Modelling (HBIM) practices, the aim of this course is about discovery.

The exhibition will be open to the public at the Museu de Civil, from 14th February to 11st March this year,  11 a.m. to 3 p.m., monday to friday.
