«FST Lisboa, the Formula Student team from Instituto Superior Técnico, will unveil its latest prototype — the FST14 — during the annual Rollout event, which will take place on 18 June, at 5.30 p.m., in the Great Hall.
Formula Student is currently the world’s largest university-level engineering competition and is often considered the most innovative motorsport event after Formula 1. Every year, university teams from across the globe are challenged to design, build, and race formula-style prototypes in the most prestigious international competitions.
This year, FST Lisboa will present the FST14, its 14th prototype, the team’s 11th electric vehicle and 5th driverless-capable prototype.
Fully electric and equipped with autonomous driving capabilities, the FST14 represents the culmination of several months of multidisciplinary work, dedication, and innovation by the 63 students who make up the team.
During the event, participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the FST Lisboa project and its history since its founding in 2001, discover the main technological innovations of the new prototype, and hear about the goals for the upcoming international competition season. The ceremony will conclude with an exclusive demonstration of the FST14 in motion, officially marking the beginning of the team’s competitive chapter.
Attendance is free but subject to prior registration.»
