«The “Fusion Industry Conference”, organised by Agência Nacional de Inovação, with the support of Instituto Superior Técnico and Loures Municipality, will take place at Técnico – Tecnológico e Nuclear Campus (CTN). The conference aims to strengthen Portugal’s position in the nuclear fusion industry, debate the future of the sector and create a favourable environment for industrial cooperation and innovation in this field.

The event will present business opportunities for the Portuguese industry with Fusion For Energy (F4E) and International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER), promote discussions on the nuclear fusion ecosystem in Europe and long-term prospects for the fusion sector and its role in the energy transition.

This conference will also be an opportunity to celebrate the first €100M in contracts for Portuguese industry with F4E/ITER, a milestone reached by only 5 other European countries to date.»
