«The IEEE EEEIC 2026 conference invites researchers, engineers, and industry professionals to submit original, high-quality research papers addressing current and future challenges in electrical energy and environmental systems.
The conference aims to be an international forum for exchanging ideas and experiences related to electrical power systems, energy technologies, and environmental sustainability, fostering collaboration between academia and industry.
IEEE EEEIC 2026 represents the 26th edition of one of Europe’s largest and longest-running conferences in the field of environment and electrical engineering. The conference is technically sponsored by the IEEE Portugal Section and brings together leading academics and industrial practitioners from around the world.

Important dates

- Acceptance notification: Within 3 weeks from submission
- Final paper submission: Within 2 weeks after the acceptance notification
All submitted papers will undergo a peer-review process. Accepted and presented papers will be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore®, subject to IEEE quality standards.

Proposals for Special Sessions addressing focused or emerging topics are welcome.
