The III Semana da Bioengenharia – SBE – is a project from the students of the Master in Biological Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology and Microbiology and it will take place in the Congress Centre of Instituto Superior Técnico from 6th to 10th March of 2017.
The themes for this year conferences and debates will include Bioinformatics, Biofuels and Bioremediation, Stem Cells, Sports Biomechanics, Machine Learning applications in Medicine, Healthcare Management, Microbiology and Biotechnology.
The Bioengineering Week is an event with the important academic role of allowing a more intimate contact between the students and the available job market and also future academic routes the students might pursue. It serves as a link between the academia and the industrial, business and scientific community.
This will be a week full of lectures from well-known researchers and companies from the field, including international guests, scientific trips and workshops, among many other surprises you don’t want to miss!
