The Inauguration Ceremony of the new Rector of Universidade de Lisboa, professor Luís Manuel dos Anjos Ferreira, will take place on 12th October 2021, at 3:30 p.m. The new Rector was elected on 6th September for a 4-year mandate (2021-2025).
The Opening Ceremony of the 2021/2022 Academic Year will be chaired by the newly elected Rector.

On this day ULisboa will welcome its new students and all international students. A welcome session including a Sunset Party with Tunas (university musical organizations by students) and DJ Camboja Selecta (from Portugal) will take place at 6 p.m.
