The 4th edition of InfraRisk- Summer Workshop will take place on July 18, at Técnico.
The research works developed under PhD scholarships granted by InfraRisk Doctoral Programme – (Analysis and Mitigation of Risks in Infrastructures), funded by FCT, will be presented in this workshop.
This workshop promotes interaction, discussion of results and future perspectives among participants, colleagues, members of study panels and research advisors.
Dr. Sébastien Proust (Researcher, River Hydraulics – Hydrology-Hydraulics (HHLY), Lyon-Villeurbanne Centre, Irstea – EPST, France) will be the keynote speaker.
Dr. James Daniell (Senior Research Scientist, Center for Disaster Management and Risk Reduction Technology (CEDIM), Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany) will be the invited speaker.
Dr. Desmond Hartford (Specialist Engineer Dam Safety Risk Assessment, British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority (BC Hydro), Canada) member of InfraRisk evaluation committee will also attend the workshop.
