The INL Summit 2018 will focus on the topic “Nanotechnology: Enabling the New Economy”. This is the largest event held in Portugal in the field of Nanotechnology and Key Enabling Technologies.
This event aims to bring together researchers, students (undergraduate and postgraduate), entrepreneurs and decision makers to discuss how science should address society’s major challenges, such as climate change, the future of mobility and the possibilities of quantum age.
The INL Summit 2018 will take place from 15th to 17th October, at Altice Forum, in Braga.

What can be expected from the INL Summit 2018?
The following five sessions will take place: Science, not fiction; Science and Policies; Science and Business; Science and Arts; and Science and Entrepreneurship”, which will be attended by international experts.
A scientific conference and a ceremony to celebrate the 10th anniversary of INL will be held on October 16, followed by a commemorative dinner and the artistic performance “The Brain Piece”, by Jody Oberfelder, from New York.
The Mission 10,000 conference will take place on October 17, under the NanoGateway programme, which aims to set the course for innovative projects in eight Portuguese and Spanish regions, where nanotechnology and science-based knowledge will play a key role.
