«The International Open Access Week 2023 will be held from October 23rd to 29th. It is an opportunity to foster active conversation about Open Science, its relationship with the public and the academic community.

This event is organised by the Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition in partnership with the Open Access Week Advisory Committee.

The Técnico Library is joining this important initiative by organising a series of interviews with professionals who have close links with Open Access. We invite the academic community to follow the Library’s social networks, as each day of the week there will be a post related to these interviews. In addition, these will be broadcast on several screens located throughout the Alameda campus.

As part of the International Open Access Week, the Técnico Library joins the initiative of Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT), which will be organising, on October 24th, from 2.15 p.m. to 3.45 p.m., the Webinar “Ciência Aberta: Comunidade, acesso e colaboração”. Participation is free and registration must be completed by filling in this form.
