«IP Talks are informal lunchtime sessions aimed at the entire academic community, namely researchers, professors, PhD students, and anyone engaged in scientific work or interested in Intellectual Property.
The sessions last about two hours (including time for discussion and questions) and focus on a relevant topic of Intellectual Property.
The first session will be on the topic of “Understanding Intellectual Property and Procedures at Técnico” and will take place on 17 October at 12 p.m. This session will be a unique opportunity for PhD students, researchers, and professors to gain insight into the world of Intellectual Property.
Session Overview: This session will offer a comprehensive overview of Intellectual Property, focusing on Industrial Property and Copyright. It will highlight the importance of protecting intellectual assets, such as inventions through patents, within the academic and research environment at Técnico. The session will be led by Patrícia Lima, Intellectual Property Unit Coordinator at Instituto Superior Técnico.»
