The second session of IST Distinguished Lecture Series will take place on November 4, at 2.30 p.m., in Abreu Faro amphitheatre (Interdisciplinary Complex), with the support of Institute for Systems and Robotics and Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
The IST Distinguished Lectures aim to promote Science in Portugal bringing together professors and researchers who have distinguished themselves in their fields of expertise.
The lecture “An introduction to (stochastic and non-stochastic) hybrid dynamical systems”, will be given by professor Andrew Teel, Distinguished Professor at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and one of the world’s leading experts in the field of hybrid systems.
