«The Junitec Summer with Purpose is a social responsibility event organised by Junitec, the junior enterprise of Instituto Superior Técnico.
The afternoon was designed to bring the university community closer to the world of volunteering, showing that there are many ways to make an impact, whether in Portugal or abroad
The event will be attended by organisations working in a range of fields, from supporting the elderly, children and animals, to sustainability, house reconstruction and food waste. With summer approaching, there will be a special focus on summer volunteering opportunities for those who want to make the most of the coming months.
Attendance is free. The event is open to the entire Técnico community.»
