The launching ceremony of “Rede ESPAÇO” will take place on 25th September 2018, at Universidade de Lisboa (salão nobre – Rectorate building).
The ceremony will start at 10 a.m. and will be attended by Dr. Joan Vernikos, former-director of Space Life Sciences at NASA, who will give a lecture titled “Lessons from Space to Healthy Living on Earth” and professor Paulo Gil (Técnico), member of “REDE ESPAÇO”.
“Rede Espaço” aims to strategically develop teaching, research, innovation and entrepreneurship in the field of Space and Extreme Environments, thus promoting transdisciplinarity among the 18 schools of Universidade de Lisboa.
