«On 21 May at 5 p.m., the Lisboa Innovation Tour makes a special stop at HealthTech Lisboa, with a strong focus on technological innovation in healthcare. Organised by Lisboa Innovation, the event will feature an open discussion on the impact and opportunities that the HealthTech sector brings to Lisbon’s innovation ecosystem.
At the core of the event are three startups with Técnico DNA, which emerged from Instituto Superior Técnico: Lampsy, BreastScreening-AI, and Bactometer. These projects highlight the dynamism and innovation capacity of Técnico in digital health and biotechnology, reinforcing the role of academia as a driving force for technological development and entrepreneurship.
Key industry players will share their insights, including Oksana Kalashnikova (Body Bloom AI), Pedro Lopes (FastCompChem), and Rui Ferreira (Territórios Criativos / Mendes Gonçalves Ventures). The discussion will be moderated by Maria Heinonen from Dealflow.eu.
The afternoon will conclude with an informal networking session during a coffee break, supported by entrepreneurs from the Lisboa Empreende+ programme.
