The 4th International Conference on Maritime Technology and Engineering (MARTECH’2018), together with the 15th National Congress of Maritime Technology and Engineering (JETM’2018) will take place from 7th to 9th May at Técnico Congress Centre.
These two events are being co-organized by the National Association of Engineers (Naval Architects and Marine Engineers Division) and Instituto Superior Técnico (Centre for Marine Technology and Ocean Engineering).
The scope of both Conferences is broad, covering all aspects of the maritime activity including: Ship Design (structures, hydrodynamics, machinery); Ship Building and Repair; Maritime Transportation and Ports; Maritime Economics; Fishing and Aquaculture; Energy Resources; Military and Surveillance Vessels.
The opening session, to be held on May 7 at 10 a.m., will be chaired by the Portuguese Minister of the Sea, professor Ana Paula Vitorino.
