«MecanIST is an annual event organised by Fórum Mecânica, as part of the Técnico Career Weeks, which promotes interaction between students and companies.
Created in 2012 as a small career fair, it has grown into one of the largest industry networking events at Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa, particularly in the field of Mechanical Engineering, bringing together hundreds of participants (students, faculty, company representatives, and speakers).
Additionally, the event promotes the connection between students and employers, allows companies to showcase their projects and strengthens their presence within the academic community.
The 15th edition will take place from 18 to 20 February. The company fair runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the remaining activities and talks are spread across the three days.
