«The next Técnico’s Library webinars will be dedicated to the Mendeley bibliographic references manager.

The first webinar “Mendeley essential” will take place on 20th March (03:30 p.m.-04:30 p.m.) and 21st March (10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.), and will cover the programme’s basic functionalities for collecting bibliographical references and using it in a word processor to insert citations and generate bibliographies. The following week, on 27th March (3:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m.) and 28th March (10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.), the second webinar “Mendeley complementary” will present some additional features of this programme, namely the PDF reading and annotation tool (Notebook) and its collaborative aspect (groups).

The two sessions of each webinar have identical content, and each participant must choose whether to enrol for the afternoon session (20th and 27th) or the morning session (21st and 28th).

Although primarily addressed to graduate students, the webinars are open to anyone interested and will be in Portuguese.
