«The CTN will welcome Professor Raquel Aires Barros, Education and Professionals Ombudsperson at Instituto Superior Técnico, with an outstanding career in Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering, and one of the leading voices in promoting Técnico’s Guiding Values— Integrity, Respect, Innovation, Collaboration, and Excellence — which guide coexistence and work throughout the institution.
During this talk, Professor Raquel Aires Barros will address:
- The role of the Ombudsperson Office as a structure for mediation, active listening, and support for Técnico professionals;
- How each CTN employee can act and intervene in line with institutional values;
- And how living these values daily contributes to a more collaborative, inclusive, and ethical work environment.
It will be a moment of open dialogue about challenges, good practices and the positive impact of living Técnico’s Values in human and professional relationships, providing a unique opportunity to listen, reflect and be inspired by those who, on a daily basis, are committed to making Instituto Superior Técnico a more ethical, humane and innovative institution.
