Venue: Taguspark, Oeiras
Técnico is a partner of the Oeiras Valley Science Festival, from 21 to 25 May at Taguspark in Oeiras. Técnico will be present daily with different activities, both at the stand in the event tent and in the building of Técnico – Oeiras Campus, where the Técnico Oeiras campus Open Day will take place on 24 May. Interactive games, visits to laboratories, prototypes of alternative energy vehicles, training programmes and much of the science produced at Técnico will be showcased.
Admission is free and the event invites all audiences to explore science, technology, engineering, the arts and maths in a creative, fun and critical way.
Alexandre Quintanilha is the Festival’s Scientific Director and Vitor Cardoso is the event’s curator, bringing more than 80 renowned speakers to a varied programme of round tables, plenary sessions and talks, under the central theme of Artificial Intelligence.
The event is organised by the Oeiras Municipality, which has Taguspark as its co-organiser. The Science Project (a subsidiary of The Book Company) is the festival’s promoter.

Throughout the festival, there will be various activities on offer at Técnico’s stand in the event tent, located in Nelson Mandela Square, and also on the premises of Técnico -Taguspark campus.
