«The Department of Chemical Engineering (DEQ) at Instituto Superior Técnico will organise a new edition of DEQ Open Laboratories, from 15th to 19th April 2024, aimed at students from 10th to 12th grade.

This initiative aims to publicize the role of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering in our daily lives and, above all, promote science and technology among young people. In this way, the DEQ opens the doors of its laboratories, showcasing some projects and instilling a taste for science in those students who will visit us.

The programme includes lab visits and experiments, lectures given by teachers and researchers who can convey to students what a Chemical Engineer can do.»
