«The Department of Chemical Engineering (DEQ) is organising another edition of Open Laboratories aimed at students from 10th to 12th grade, from 5 to 9 May 2025, when DEQ celebrates the 20th anniversary of Open Laboratories.

The mornings (9.30 a.m. – 12.30 p.m.) and afternoons (2.30 p.m. – 5.30 p.m.) will begin with a lecture followed by several demonstrations of experiences and visits, showing a little of what is done at DEQ.

For 20 years, this initiative has been highlighting the role of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering in our daily lives and, above all, promoting science and technology among younger people, opening the doors of its laboratories, making people aware of what is done at this department and instilling a taste for science in students from the many schools across the country who will visit us.»
