«The innovative Doctoral Programme in Planetary Health at Universidade de Lisboa (ULisboa) will begin on 17 October at the Portugal Pavilion. The opening session is open to the public and will feature the lecture “Advancing the Health of People and the Planet” by Renzo Guinto, Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore.

This programme aims to train researchers and leaders capable of addressing the complex intersections between human health, environmental sustainability, and social equity. Grounded in interdisciplinary research, education, and community engagement, it prepares doctoral students to develop innovative solutions to today’s planetary health challenges.

This initiative positions ULisboa at the forefront of planetary health studies, both in Portugal and internationally.»
