«On 28 May, from 12.30 p.m. to 1.30 p.m., a panel debate titled “Blackout! Electrical and Computer Engineering on the Front Line of Crisis Response” will take place in lecture hall EA1, marking the closing event of the EletroStart program.

The session will bring together experts from the energy and telecommunications sectors, as well as faculty from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico (DEEC/IST), to discuss the technical challenges and responses associated with crises such as the recent national blackout.

The event is primarily intended for students attending the Undergraduate Programme in Electrical and Computer Engineering (LEEC) and the Master’s Programme in Electrical and Computer Engineering (MEEC), but is open to the entire Técnico community.

Participation is free, but registration is required.»
