«The Pedro Nunes Lecture 2025 will take place on 30 September, at 2.30 p.m., at the Lisbon Academy of Sciences. These lectures are organised by the International Mathematics Centre (CIM), of which the three mathematics centres at Instituto Superior Técnico (CAMGSD, CEMAT, and GFM) are members.

The lecture will be given by Hugo Duminil-Copin, a French mathematician renowned for his outstanding contributions to probability theory and statistical physics, who was awarded a Fields Medal in 2022.

Two buses will be available to transport those interested (Alameda Campus – main building, at 1.15 p.m. and 1.30 p.m., returning at 4.30 p.m.).»
