«The ‘Pedro Nunes Lectures’, one of the leading mathematical events in Portugal, in which an internationally renowned mathematician is invited to give one or more lectures in various departments of the country, is a joint initiative of the International Center for Mathematics (CIM) and the Portuguese Mathematical Society (SPM).
The 2025 edition will feature two lectures by a world-renowned mathematician: Michael Christ (UC Berkeley). The first lecture, titled ‘Oscillatory Multilinear Inequalities’, will take place at Técnico – Alameda campus on 7 May and will be organised by Diogo Oliveira e Silva, a professor in the Department of Mathematics at Instituto Superior Técnico.»
