The Astronomy Summer School (EVA) is an initiative developed by the Physics Student Organisation at Instituto Superior Técnico (NFIST), with the aim of promoting Astronomy and Astrophysics to all participants.

This school is aimed at secondary school students (10th, 11th and 12th grade) with motivation and curiosity to learn and find out more about the world of science.

For five days, we will approach topics such as Gravitation, Astronomy, Cosmology and Astrophysics, in an attempt to promote the discussion of some physics matters that are not covered in secondary school, and complement those that are.

Registration is open until 31st July. The 5th edition of EVA will take place between 4th and 8th September of 2023.»
