From 6 to 10 April, Rob9-16 will be running an intensive holiday workshop titled “Project X: Autonomy on Wheels” for young people aged 9 to 16 at Instituto Superior Técnico (Oeiras Campus), Universidade de Lisboa.
Over five days, participants will build and programme an intelligent robotic car, exploring in a practical way:
- Fundamentals of electronics
- Introduction to Arduino programming
- Integration of sensors and motors
- Development of autonomous systems
The activity culminates in tests and a final mini competition.
This is an immersive experience that promotes logical thinking, teamwork, autonomy, and problem-solving through a practical approach guided by Técnico students.
