The Técnico Doctoral School and COTEC Portugal are pleased to announce the Session D100–E100 “Doctoral Programmes in a business environment”, on 27 January 2026, at 4 p.m., in the VA4 Amphitheatre, Civil Engineering Building, Alameda Campus, in Lisbon.

This event aims to promote reflection and the sharing of experiences on doctoral models developed in a non-academic environment, in close collaboration between academia and entities from the private and public sectors.

The session is highly relevant for students interested in pursuing doctoral studies and learning about academic paths in a business context, as well as for professors and researchers interested in doctoral supervision, university-business cooperation and associated funding instruments.

Throughout the session, contributions will be presented by institutional leaders, PhD graduates and PhD students, as well as representatives from companies with experience in doctoral programmes in a business environment.»
