In the context of the 20 Years Conversation Cycle of the Lisbon LGBTI + Pride Parade, the 2nd “Student Movement: LGBTI + Activism in Higher Education” will take place next 28th November, at 18:15, in Civil Engineering building (room VA4).
This event will be moderated by QueerIST. Members from several queer university groups, namely from the Letras Fora do Armário (FLUL), MAIS (FFUL), OutCiências (FCUL), and Movimento LGBTI+ Leiria, will participate in this event.
It is intended to discuss the context and creation of the various university groups, their relevance inside and outside the college and their role in civil society. Finally, their action and ideology will also be discussed. At the end, a Q&A session will take place.
Venue: Civil engineering building, VA4 amphitheatre.
