«The Astronomy department of the Physics Students’ Organisation at Instituto Superior Técnico (ASTRO-NFIST) invites the student community to its newest initiative, the Student Space Odyssey.

This interdisciplinary event takes place on 28, 29 and 30 April, between 3 p.m. and 7.45 p.m., and aims to give interested Técnico students a peek into the experience of working in the space industry and in space agencies like ESA.

The event will include lectures on a variety of subjects, such as Telecommunications and Astrobiology. Participants will have the opportunity to chat with other young scientists at the beginning of their careers, to attend a roundtable about the ideas that will dictate the future of the area, or even meet two Portuguese astronaut-scientists. This will be a great opportunity for students to learn about the experiences and the missions developed by top space science and engineering professionals.»
