On 11 March, at 9.30 a.m., Universidade de Lisboa will host the event ‘Sustainability 360º – 1st ULisboa Sustainability Meeting’, an initiative dedicated to presenting projects, actions and best practices developed by ULisboa Schools.
The main aim of the meeting is to promote a constructive discussion on ULisboa’s sustainability strategy and to highlight good practices in Schools, presented by the Students’ Union.
During the event, ULisboa’s Sustainability Network (RedeSUSTENTA) will be presented, which aims to foster cooperation between ULisboa’s academic community in order to promote a coordinated response to the pressing challenges of sustainable development and the dissemination of solutions and good practices, with a view to meeting national and international sustainability targets.
The programme includes a round table discussion on the topic “Sustainability 360º”, which will be attended by Paulo Ferrão, professor at Instituto Superior Técnico.
The event will also feature comedian Pedro Teixeira da Mota, a Showcooking session led by Chef Marco Fonseca and nutritionist Tatiana Pereira, who will explore creative and sustainable solutions for healthy eating, followed by a food tasting session.
The event will also include the presentation of monetary prizes to reward the best videos and posters from the Students’ Unions on the initiatives with the greatest impact in the field of sustainability.
