«TecStorm is Portugal’s largest university technology and entrepreneurship event, powered by JUNITEC — the Junior Enterprise at Instituto Superior Técnico.

TecStorm is a 24-hour competition that challenges university students to explore their creative potential and develop innovative projects with real societal impact.

This year, under the theme “Beyond the Edge of Innovation,” the event enters its ninth edition, inspiring participants to push their limits and explore bold ideas in a cooperative and dynamic environment.

During the hackathon, teams will have access to specialised mentorship and support from partner companies, which will be present to encourage the development of technological solutions in highly relevant areas.

The event stands out for fostering an entrepreneurial spirit, offering participants a unique opportunity to learn, create, and excel in a competitive setting. At the end of the competition, the most promising projects will be recognised, with prizes totalling over €10,000, reflecting the quality and impact of the ideas developed at the competition.»
