• Title: “Why innovation is so important?”

In this webinar we will cover the role of innovation in the economy and economic growth, and its importance for competitiveness. We will look at the positioning of companies in Portugal and the measures of innovation performance. We will talk about changes in globalization movements, and opportunities for re-shoring Europe, considering the strategic role of innovation in this process. In this context, we will also talk about the digital economy and its role in the current revolution.

These themes will be discussed in the specialisation course “Strategic Innovation” specialisation course at Técnico+, coordinated by professor Joana Mendonça and engineer João Picoito.
