The Técnico Open Day takes place on 18 April, from 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m., with over a hundred activities for all ages, free of charge. The Alameda campus, in Lisbon, will open its doors, allowing visitors to explore what is being taught and the different types of research (and much more) conducted at Técnico’s three campi. Projects developed by students, scientists and professors will be showcased at an event where it will also be possible to visit laboratories and learn more about the School’s training offer.

Several research and innovation projects will be showcased in an interactive exhibition with experiments led by researchers and students. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to tour several teaching and research laboratories, guided by students and professors.

Science Fair
Discover research units and student projects with demonstrations and experiments.

Science for Kids
Experiments and fun activities for children up to 12 years old.
Venue: Room C9

Lab Visits
Explore the departments’ teaching and research laboratories. Registration for morning visits starts at 9.30 a.m. and for afternoon visits at 1 p.m.

Courses and Pathways
Speak with students from each undergraduate programme to learn more about international opportunities, career development, academic support, and available resources.

Talks with Scientists
