On September 17, 2026, at 11 a.m., the Biological Sciences Group of the Department of Bioengineering at Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa, will honour Isabel Sá-Correia, a Distinguished Full Professor at Técnico and an Emeritus Professor at Universidade de Lisboa, by naming the Biological Sciences Teaching Laboratory—located on the 6th floor of the South Tower at Alameda campus—after her.

Naming the laboratory after her serves as recognition of her exceptional career and the contributions she has made to teaching and research in the field of biological sciences at Técnico.
