«The Thematic Interdisciplinary Network on Smart Urban Mobility (redeMOV) at Universidade de Lisboa (ULisboa) will organise the Conference “Airports decarbonization and sustainability challenges”, by Xibei Jia, as part of the conference series “Conversas à Sexta”. 

The study addresses the main challenges of airports in reducing their environmental impact. A comparative analysis was carried out with 150 airports and methodologies to assess the potential impact of alternative solutions for the different airport components that contribute to the overall impact of the infrastructure. The work has been developed as part of the TULIPS project, in which four airports representing different spatial scales are involved, namely: Schiphol; Oslo; Turin, and Lanarca.”»
