The exhibition “Meu matalote e amigo Luís de Camões”, on display at Pavilhão de Portugal Exhibition Centre, has guided tours and a parallel programme in partnership with Museus e Monumentos de Portugal.
The parallel programme includes various activities promoted by institutions such as the National Museum of Contemporary Art of Chiado, the Ajuda National Palace, the National Museum of Archaeology, the Anastácio Gonçalves House-Museum and the Jerónimos Monastery, including, for example, the exploration of the relationship between Camões and the Tágides, as well as how Columbano Pinheiro modernised historical painting, transforming epic narratives into works accessible to all. The full programme can be found at www.ulisboa.pt/pavilhao-de-portugal.
Additionally, visitors can participate in guided tours every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Participation is free, but registration is required.
The exhibition is open to the public from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
