The ULisboa RedeMOV Conference “Habitar em Movimento: habitação e mobilidade na Área Metropolitana de Lisboa” will take place on 9 September 2025, at 5 p.m., in the TTC@ULisboa Auditorium. The conference is part of the “Conversas à Terça” conference series and will be presented by Sílvia Manuela Branco Jorge.

In the current context of housing crisis, territorial inequality and ecological transition, it is becoming increasingly urgent to think, plan, and act in an integrated manner. Based on this challenge, this session proposes a dialogue between housing and mobility, focusing on the Lisbon Metropolitan Area. How is the growing difficulty of accessing affordable housing transforming the way we move around the city? And what implications does this reality have for urban planning, territorial equity, and sustainability?

RedeMOV organizes “Conversas à Terça”, a series of monthly conferences that provide a space for reflection and debate on the topic of urban mobility.
