IST and the Fundación Global Nature will organise the webinar “Biodiversity, livestock and differentiated marketing”, on Tuesday, May 19, from 10:00 to 12:30, under the LIFE Food & Biodiversity project.
Many Iberian habitats of high natural value depend directly on livestock and its correct management. In addition to meat production, livestock is an economic activity that generates essential environmental, social and economic services in the Iberian Peninsula. In this workshop, Portuguese and Spanish experiences of how livestock can be a key element for the conservation of our natural heritage and how to transfer this value to the market will be shared.
