Women in Science and Technology – Laetitia Garriott

“Women in Science and Technology - How have things changed for women, and how have things changed because of women” – 10:30 - Prior registration is required.

The US Embassy in Portugal will organise a session to celebrate Women in Science and Technology, on July 8th, at 10:30 am (Lisbon time).

Laetitia Garriott, entrepreneur and investor with more than 20 years of experience in the technological and financial sector, will give a presentation titled “Women in Science and Technology – How have things changed for women, and how have things changed because of women”.

Laetitia Garriott is the Founder and CEO of Global Space Ventures. She serves on NATO Maritime Unmanned Systems Innovation Advisory Board; on the board of directors of XPRIZE, which launched on Earth Day the $100M Carbon Removal XPRIZE with Elon Musk.

The session will be held in English. Live streaming from ISR|Lisboa facilities, located at IST Alameda campus, as part of dr. Laetitia Garriott visit to ISR|Lisboa.
