The UT Austin Portugal Program is organizing a workshop on 2D Materials for Biomedical Applications, under the scientific coordination of Dr. Artur Pinto (Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto – FEUP) and Professor Jean Anne Incorvia (the University of Texas at Austin – UT Austin).
The training has been split into 2 sessions, each 3-hours long, and will take place on January 27 and 28, 2022, 3 p.m. – 6 p.m., into a virtual-only mode.
The UT Austin professors Brian A. Korgel, Deji Akinwande, Emanuel Tutuc, Navid Saleh and Xintong Li will also participate in the event.
Participation is free of charge. Registration is required until 25th January (extended deadline). If registrations closes, you can ask to be put on a waiting list sending an e-mail to events@utaustinportugal.org.
The workshop will be entirely recorded for archival and reporting purposes and may be publicly available on the Program’s communication channels after its completion (e.g. website, YouTube channel).
The organic structure of the UT Austin Portugal Program is made up of three Técnico scientists: Professor Paulo Mateus (IST/DM; IT/SQIG) – Area Director for Advanced Computing, Dr.José G. Marques (IST/DECN; C2TN/TNPR) – Area Director for Medical Physics, and Professor Paulo J. Ferreira (IST/DEM; INL) – Area Director for Nanotechnology.
