Workshop “Towards a computational theory of consciousness”

INESC Lisboa

The workshop “Towards a computational theory of consciousness” will take place on 27th September, at 13:00, and will include the participation of Lenore e Manuel Blum, on the topic “The Conscious Turing Machine: A Framework for a Conscious AI”.

The workshop is part of PRELUNA project (Precise and Efficient Learning using Attention Mechanisms) and aims to discuss computational theories for the phenomenon of consciousness and to analyze how computational models for consciousness can help improve the performance of current AI systems.
