Secondary school students are eligible to apply for the next edition of FAQtos Awards, coordinated by professor Luís M. Correia and promoted by INOV – INESC inovação/Instituto Superior Técnico.

The FAQtos Contest is a national competition for all secondary school students, from all areas and courses, regardless of the nature of the school (public or private). The main objective of the FAQtos Contest is to promote a collective conscience in the area of electromagnetic fields from telecommunications sources (radiofrequencies band), and impact on society, as well as potential health and environmental effects.

For the 2025 FAQtos Award, students should freely address a topic related to radiofrequency, under the theme “Explora as Radiofrequências” (“Explore the Radiofrequencies”) creating a project throughout the school year (individually or grouped into teams of up to 5 students from the same school).

Target group:

• Secondary school students, from all areas and courses, regardless of the nature of the school (public or private);
• At the time of application, participants must be between the ages of 14 and 21;
• The Projects can address any Secondary School Courses and Subjects, namely Scientific-Humanistic and Professional courses.

The final ceremony will take place on 5 July 2025, at Técnico Congress Centre.
